This Privacy Policy applies to VisioHire Job Market (the daily job search intelligence service), a product of IMAVISSIO Ltd, registered in England and Wales. It covers how we collect, use, store and protect personal data processed for the purposes of the daily job search digest in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) where applicable.

3. What Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal data when you use VisioHire Job Market:
- Identity data: Full name
- Contact data: Email address
- Professional data: CV / resume text, target industries, role preferences, location preferences, salary expectations
- Usage data: Service interaction data, digest engagement, dashboard usage
- Payment data: Subscription tier — billing is handled by LemonSqueezy (Merchant of Record); we do not store payment card details
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and device information (where applicable via analytics)
4. How We Use Your Data
We use your personal data for the following purposes, all of which have a lawful basis under UK/EU GDPR:
- Service delivery (Contract): Scanning job markets, scoring opportunities and delivering your daily job search digest with application materials, pipeline tracking and recruiter-scan signals
- Account management (Contract): Managing your subscription, profile and access
- Communications (Contract / Legitimate Interest): Sending your digest (daily or fortnightly depending on your tier), service updates and support responses
- Improvement (Legitimate Interest): Improving match quality, scoring algorithms and service features
- Legal compliance (Legal Obligation): Retaining records as required by law
VisioHire Job Market uses automated profiling to match users with opportunities and to score role probability, market timing, recruiter-scan signals and competitive-cohort position, combined into a composite decision-grade verdict per opportunity with a reasoning trace. These outputs are assistive and do not constitute automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects. You retain full control over which roles to apply to and how to use the cover letters, outreach messages and application materials we generate.
No employment outcome is guaranteed. The service does not represent you to employers and does not constitute careers advice from a regulated adviser.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We do not share your data with prospective employers. Your CV content and profile are never shared with third parties without your explicit consent.
We use the following service providers who process data on our behalf as Data Processors:
- LemonSqueezy: Payment processing (Merchant of Record — handles EU/UK VAT)
- Google (Workspace / Apps Script / Drive): Data processing infrastructure
- Cloudflare: Website delivery, security, performance optimization, and traffic protection services
All processors are bound by appropriate data processing agreements and operate under GDPR-compliant terms.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for the duration of your active subscription plus a maximum of 90 days following subscription cancellation or account closure, after which all personal data is permanently deleted from our systems.
For Scout (free trial) accounts specifically, the retention schedule is: 30-day active trial, followed by a 60-day upgrade window (during which your profile is preserved but match delivery is paused), followed by a locked period of up to 6 months — after which all personal data is automatically and permanently deleted. The maximum total retention period for a Scout account is approximately 10 months from the date of account creation.
You may request immediate deletion at any time (see Section 8). Aggregate, anonymised data may be retained for service improvement purposes.
7. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including access controls, encrypted data storage and regular security reviews. Your CV text and profile data are stored in your private account environment, accessible only to you and our service infrastructure.
